EMDR THERAPY
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for adults.
Sometimes, painful past experiences or thoughts get "stuck" in our bodies, making it difficult to believe you can exist any other way, or move forward in your life. Traditional therapy can be helpful to begin the process of healing, however, it does not always fully address the experience.

You might be aware of exactly what happened to make living life so difficult—a traumatic experience or a cluster of experiences—leaving you feeling on edge all or most of the time. It impacts your sleep quality and effects all other facets of your life. Or, like some, you're not sure what it is. You just know you've been struggling and feel bound to the loop of intense emotions and thoughts.

EMDR is a powerful approach to therapy that helps you regain control of your life, and experience profound relief.
With EMDR, healing is possible.
HOW EMDR THERAPY WORKS
EMDR Therapy supports the healing process by utilizing bilateral stimulation to resolve unprocessed memories.
Through a structured approach, you will briefly focus on the traumatic incident while simultaneously applying bilateral stimulation to reduce the intensity, vividness or emotion of the memory. This process helps get the memories "unstuck." Once this happens, you will experience a decrease in painful emotions, physical sensations or intense thought loops that were once connected to the memory.

No matter what, I will walk you through each step of the process. We will always go at your pace so you can experience the healing effects of EMDR in a safe and secure space.
